چکیده
Chicory (Cichorium intybus L.) is a low-height perennial or biennial herb from the family of Asteraceae. Investigation different in vitro regeneration strategies Cichorium and increasing number secondary metabolites regenerated plant samples were aims research. Callus regenerations achieved basal growth media supplemented with regulators (PGRs). Whole was carried out by direct organogenesis leaf explant Murashige Skoog (MS) B5 naphthalene acetic (NAA) acid indole-3-butyric (IBA). The highest callus quantity produced MS medium indole-3-acetic (IAA) benzyl amino purine (BAP). combination concentrations PGRs used not only provided root shoot formation callus, but also caused change amounts phenolic components. In addition, some an increase compounds shoots developed explant. When plants that grow vivo are compared each other, it has been determined grown contain higher compounds. extracted ethanol/water (80:20 v/v). analysis (caftaric, chicoric, chlorogenic acids esculin) performed high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) inulin UV spectrophotometry. caftaric than vitro. Contrarily, esculin, chicoric samples. concentration valuable samples, especially tissue, gives hope for large-scale production under laboratory conditions.

Plants have basic nutritional importance by their content of protein, carbohydrate, fats and oils minerals, vitamins and water responsible for growth and development in man and animals. Phytochemical simply means plant chemicals. Phytol is the Greek word for plant. Phytochemicals are classified as primary or secondary constituents, depending on their role in plant metabolism. Primary metabolism...
متن کاملPhytochemical and Biological Evaluation of Cichorium intybus L. Seeds
In this study, we aim to demonstrate, separately, the hepatoprotective activity of the total ethanolic extract as well as the defatted ethanolic extract of Cichorium intybus L., using adult Wister albino rats (120-170 g) as the experimental animals. The total as well as the defatted alcoholic extracts of Cichorium intybus L., seeds possess significant hepatoprotective activity; which may be att...

متن کاملPermeabilization and in situ adsorption studies during growth and coumarin production in hairy root cultures of Cichorium intybus L.
Effect of addition of a permeabilizing agent dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and a solid adsorbent, XAD -7, on growth and coumarin production in hairy root cultures of C. intybus was studied. Continuous permeabilization of the hairy root cultures of C. intybus with DMSO has been shown to be an effective strategy for enhanced release of coumarins while preserving the root viability. DMSO at 0.2% (v/v)...
